Georgia Garden Botanical Coastal
The coastal georgia botanical gardens is one of savannah's best kept secret! the gardens supply a breathtaking view for your special day. Formerly a usda plant introduction station, and known by locals as "the bamboo farm," the coastal georgia botanical gardens (cgbg) at the historic bamboo farm houses an internationally known collection of bamboo, as well as many rare and historic plants and trees. visitors will also see seasonal displays of native and regionally adapted plants recommended for the coastal region. Coastalgeorgiabotanicalgardens is part of the university of georgia's extension. it also benefits from support from the chatham county government and the non-profit friends of the coastal gardens organization. there is no fee to park at the facility and a gift shop offers a wide array of souvenirs and garden-related items for sale.
